NeNe Leakes (born Linnethia Monique Johnson,[1] December 13, 1967)[2] is an television personality, and actress, who is best know for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She resides in Duluth area of Atlanta with her two sons, Bryson and Brentt. She is an advocate against domestic abuse, and having experienced it herself, has written a memoir in hopes that her story will resonate with women who have been through similar circumstances.[3] She was recently a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice 4.
NeNe Leakes is a cast member of the television reality show,The Real Housewives of Atlanta.[4] Leakes earned her net worth from her role in Housewives and associated appearances, as well as her time as a contestant on the eleventh season of Donald Trump's NBC series The Celebrity Apprentice and sales of her book. During the tenth episode of Apprentice, after arguments with fellow cast member Star Jones, Leakes walked off the show. Leakes was playing for the charity which she founded, The Twisted Heart Foundation, concerning domestic violence against women.
